Lisa And Andy
As Lisa walked down the aisle, she took her guests breath away. Dressed in a bespoke LouLou Nelly dress, altered to become her dream wedding gown, Lisa looked flawless with her hair tied in a beehive updo to compliment the shape and detail of her stunning gown. Coordinating seamlessly with the 1950’s decorations and red and white floral décor, the bridesmaids looked picture perfect in their polka dot gowns and fur shoulder wraps. When Andy turned to see his beautiful, blushing bride-to-be walking towards him, his heart skipped a beat. He never would have thought this day would come when 7 years earlier a giggling Lisa sat down in front of him on their very first date. Although Andy’s proposal hadn’t quite gone to plan due to Lisa’s over-excited, his charm and brilliant sense of humour won her over and of course Lisa said yes to marrying the man of her dreams.
The Taylor wedding was day to remember, filled with smiles, laughter and love. The happy couple said their “I do’s” at the National Brewery centre in Burton before dancing the night away to the Beatles tribute band who had everyone up on their feet all night long. After a whirlwind of a romantic wedding day, Lisa and Andy jetted of the New York City for their honeymoon and then journeyed to Las Vegas to party together on Christmas Day.
Please describe your hair style, wedding veil and shoes.
I went for a beehive updo that matched the theme of the wedding perfectly. My veil and shoes were recommended by Mary, at The Wedding Room, who helped me select the simple but beautiful, half-length, clip on wedding veil and satin heels. Although I changed into my flip flops later in the night so I could properly dance!
Were you nervous the night before your wedding? Would you have changed anything?
I wasn’t nervous at all, just excited to celebrate our love. I wouldn’t change a thing; it was the perfect day to me.
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
Dancing to the Beatles band was great fun, and seeing Andy dressed in his authentic Beatles style suit from a company called Beatwear was brilliant. It was perfect because Andy plays the guitar and is looking to play with a Beatles tribute band in the future.
What are you most looking forward too about married life?
Spending the rest of my life with my adoring partner.
