Zoe and Chris

The sun beamed brightly on the beach causing the sea to sparkly as the waves rolled up the shore. The pale sand contrasted perfectly with the green mountainous backdrop creating a stunning scene for an ideal Italian, destination wedding. Under the chiffon draped frame with floral décor, Chris stood eagerly awaiting the arrival of his fiancé. With his navy Toms and matching bow tie and shorts, Chris looked suave, comfortable and summery. The intimate setting included 18 of their nearest and dearest friends and family, who turned in excitement to watch Zoe walk down the aisle. Dressed in a stunning La Sposa wedding gown with embellished cap sleeves, this figure flattering gown looked flawless on Zoe. Her hair was neatly tied up and tucked under her cathedral length veil with diamante clips to add an element of sparkle, coordinating perfectly with her new diamond engagement ring. Carrying her colourful bouquet, Zoe walked towards the man of her dreams.

A decade beforehand, Zoe was a young fresher on the swimming and water polo team for the University of Liverpool, when she met her prince charming, Chris, and she had to make the first move. Over the years the couple have fallen more in love with each other every day. When the mechanical engineer, Chris, spent a long 4 months working away from his girlfriend in South Africa the time apart only inceased the love between the pair. So upon his arrival home, Chris proposed to Zoe immediately.

Zoe and Chris tied the knot in a picturesque Italian venue. Sharing such a beautiful occasion with their closest loved ones created an intimate and cherished atmosphere.

How did you choose the style of your wedding shoes?

I wore comfy strapy heels, I've had for years – perfect for the sand!

I didn’t have a set-in stone budget, rather, just a rough idea of how much to spend.

ow did you choose the style of your hair?

I wanted it up, in relaxed in style because the dress had embellished cap sleeves to show off.

We continued the wedding celebrations by honeymoneying in Italy.

What was your favourite moment of your wedding?

After the I do’s, when I walked back down the aisle with my new husband was my favourite moment as we could properly see all of our loving guests who were overwhelmed with joy to watch us get married.

How and why did you select your florist?

Because we had a destination wedding, my wedding planner arranged the florist and helped organise the details.

Were you nervous the night before your wedding, if so, how did you overcome the nerves?

No, not at all, I couldn’t wait to marry the man of my dreams!

What is the best piece of advice you could offer another bride?

Don’t be afraid to show your personal characters through your wedding. Remember to have the wedding that you and your groom desire and don't feel as though you need to follow the stereotype or pressure from 'traditionalists'.

What are you most looking forward too about married life?

Having fun with my best friend for the rest of our lives together.
