Lorna and Dean

Dressed head to toe in a 1970s get up, Lorna and her friends bounced into a quiet pub in Loughborough, singing and dancing the moves from the musical they had just performed to finish their A levels. Filled with glee, Lorna sat down next to an unassuming local and started chatting. Little did either of them realise that 8 years later they would be tying the knot at their fairytale wedding.

The wedding was stunning. Set in the idyllic Swancar Farm, Nottingham, this shabby chic country house with open wood beams was the perfect location for the Hardy’s to get married. Handy man Dean, hand-painted the wedding signs, created the table plan, designed the invites and chopped up the log slices. The dusky blue and rustic theme resonated throughout the gorgeous location, in the floral and the décor, coordinating with the bridesmaid’s dresses and accessories of the groomsmen. Dean, dressed in a three-piece grey suit with a tweed waistcoat, waited patiently for his bride as their loved ones bustled excitedly. When Lorna walked down the aisle she took everyone’s breathe away. The Mandongus wedding gown that Lorna wore fitted her figure perfectly and complimented her personality to a tee. The lace illusion cap-sleeve over a sweet-heart neckline on this stunning wedding gown was clearly on show as Lorna’s hair was neatly tied up with intricate plaits and loose curls. The vintage lace dispersed throughout the dress contrasted perfectly with the simplicity of the satin bow tied around Lorna’s waist and the plain, full length veil she wore. The gasps of awe and delight arose from the guests as they admired this gorgeous bride as she carried her beautiful bouquet towards her fiancée. With a smile from ear to ear Lorna greeted the man of her dreams and the couple said ‘I do’ to the rest of their lives together.
