Bridal Beauty Month
Good morning beautiful brides, brides-to-be and bride wannabe’s. We are well on our way through our Beauty Bridal Month, here, at The Wedding Room, and so far the advice, competitions, blogs and posts we have received are incredible! We love the love you’ve been giving us so we wanna give you more!
It’s Father’s day today but we are focussing on the mothers out there, because everyday should be Mother’s Day! At The Wedding Room, we not only offer a range of breath-taking bridal gowns to suit the needs and taste of any bride, but we also offer a stunning selection of bridesmaids dresses in a wide range of fabrics including soft floaty chiffon and lightweight bobbinet. There are several colour choices to suit any season or style of wedding and we also stock their latest design which has multi style options. Whilst these stunning gowns prove a huge hit for bridesmaids, mother-of-the-bride (and groom) have also been known to love these designs and wear them on their daughters (and sons) special day. So, this got us thinking, whilst we offer a dress to the mother-of-the-bride how does she find the challenge of achieving her perfect makeup? Today we are tackling a sensitive subject but one that is easily tackled with the advice from our amazingly talented friend Jenni, from Makeup By Jenni. This industry professional has helped us identify and combat the problems faced by the older – but still totally glamourous mother-of-the-bride, so she can be a total yummy mummy on the wedding day, and maybe soon a GLAM-ma!
The mothers of the bride and groom! What makeup style would you suggest for these ladies to look appropriate but glamorous?
Using hydrating and light reflective products is key for skin. For the eyes, I avoid harsh line and go for subtle smokey glamour with champagne colours, taupe, bronze and soft greys to suit.
Can you think of any makeup products that compliment older ladies really well??
I love Clarins long wear eyeliners. Really buildable, blendable and they don’t sit in fine lines. Again, it’s all about the application and I’m available to help you look your best possible self.
