The Wedding Room: Flowers by The Flower Room and Brides dress by Lillian West

Look and feel your best in this allover lace wedding gown. The illusion bodice features a plunging neckline and illusion side cutouts. Multiple laces and trim create a sexy bohemian look. The scalloped train completes this style. This style is also available with the bodice lined to the side illusion inserts.

The Flower Room: As an integrated part of our service at The Wedding Room, we are pleased to be able to offer brides a bespoke service for Wedding Flowers too. Each colour scheme, wedding theme, venue location and dress style is taken into account when we discuss your vision.

A message from Steph…

What is your best advice leading up to / on the wedding day?

Try and be relaxed! I know this is easier said than done, but honestly once you can let go of any unnecessary stress and fully be present in your wonderful day, it’ll make it so worth it.

What is your most memorable moment of the day?

All of it! I was a very DIY rustic wedding on our local cricket pitch. Everyone pulled together to make it happen for us which made it so special.

How did The Wedding Room contribute to a positive build up to your day?

Where to even start! Mary and Lucy were integral in the positive build up to the big day. I had seen a dress which had caught my eye prior to visiting- and I think if it wasn’t for Mary I would have put her on first and job done.

Mary was adamant that me and girls were to have some fun, try on different dresses with some fizz and really embrace the dress shopping experience. I did end up purchasing Summer as she was the dress of my dreams, but I’m so thankful to Mary for encouraging me to embrace the whole experience!

Can you describe the first look?

The bursting smile on my husband to be face was a look I’ll never forget. He isn’t an emotional guy so I wasn’t expecting any tears. I was worried I would get very emotional throughout the day, but in fact I just smiled and laughed from dawn till dusk. It really was the most special day of our lives

What did you love the most about your dress?

Oh she was perfect!! I’d seen her online prior to visiting the wedding room, rang Mary and checked she had her in! She’s very boho vibe and fitted my tipi autumnal wedding like a dream. I popped her on in the shop and she fit like a glove (which was a bonus as could really visualise myself in her)!
