Over the years, weddings have become a very grand occasion, even the most simplest of weddings now include many little details to give your day that personal vibe.

2020 bought many changes, especially for weddings. We know so many The Wedding Room brides have had to postpone their weddings to a later date, hoping they will be able to have the day they have spent so long planning. To still have every single little element that had been carefully chosen to make the day their own. Some brides have made the decision to go ahead with their day under the guidelines at the time, to rethink those details and to make the choice to scale down their plans to suit the new ‘allowed’ numbers.

If you had to choose less of the details for your day, what would be your ‘essentials’ ? Would you choose to keep the venue you fell in love with, even with a smaller guest list ? We are lucky enough to be located close to The Walled Garden and we know how stunning it looks in all it’s glory. To have imagined yourself saying ‘I do’ in those surroundings means that changing venue is likely to be a non negotiable, so of course you would make it work. Maybe you had imaged a morning of pampering from people like Make up by Jenni and The Bridal Artists because you KNOW that the pressure of doing your own hair and make up would be just too stressful, if so you are not going to compromise there.

If your numbers are very small it might seem extravagant to have a cake, but then again if you’ve seen and tasted the delicious Green Kitchen Cakes, you’re not going to want to give that up either, are you ? And what about a photographer… now that’s a big one.
